The mailing list is designed to keep residents’ abreast of events, with short, timely (and not too frequent) emails on issues which affect us all (e.g. important developments in the area, items soliciting your action, public nuissance issues (leaks, rubbish & litter etc.) crime in the Avenue etc.). It is very easy to join, and by subscribing to the mailing list you enable the committee to send you news to which they wish to draw your attention, and you to send messages to the committee which they can pass on to other residents if appropriate. This should ensure Avenue mailings are kept to a practical minimum. To register fill in the form on the right hand side. There is an optional fee of £25 per year per household which pays for the AGM meeting and reception, the web site and mailing list plus any other expense agreed at the AGM.
Applications to be on the mailing list are vetted by the committee to ensure only bona fide residents are on the list (plus a few interested parties such as Non-resident owners (NRO), adjacent RAs, & Ward Councillors). To leave the list simply notify the committee, who will remove your name.
Whether you are on the mailing list or not, all residents will be invited by leaflet to the AGM which is usually in January.
